Background

Born to incredible parents, married to my soul mate and blessed with a beautiful and healthy child, one could say my life is wonderful.

But this was not always the case, before attending NDNU I was lost. I had no direction, little confidence and what seemed like some very heavy burdens to bear. Words cannot possibly express how much I have grown since my first class at NDNU. I have found my purpose and my calling in life. I was put on this earth to help people. I had never thought in a million years that I would be graduating with my BS in Human Services, let alone applying for a MS program in hopes of obtaining my MFT and LPCC. I have dreams of pursuing my doctorate down the line, truly taking advantage of the brain God blessed me with.

I am excited everyday now when I wake up because I know that I can make a difference in the world and give back. The life that I lead is a living breathing example to my son that anyone can rally change, in themselves and in the world around them.

I am so thankful for my education, my family and my passion.

The world is truly my oyster.
